We can’t recommend Andy enough! He was brilliant from start to finish. I came across him at a wedding fair after seeing a wonderful shot of a couple I used to go to school with, so instantly felt that connection. He was so friendly and the quality of his photographs and albums shone through. One of the main reasons we went with him was because his shots and style of photography weren’t run of the mill and we didn’t want the normal posed cheesy shots. It was such a good idea having an engagement shoot and it put myself and Chris at ease in front of the camera and also allowed us to get to know Andy a bit more. On the actual day Andy was with us right from the word go and stayed until after the first dance but he blended in so well with many people looking at the photos afterwards saying they never realised where he was taking them from! The church where we got married was very strict about where he could go but he managed to get some wonderful shots of the service and throughout the whole day. Following a recommendation from a close friend and after viewing his awesome online gallery we chose Andy as our photographer for our wedding in June this year. From the moment we met Andy we knew we’d made the right decision. Not only were the engagement photos he took of us fantastic he was also an incredibly friendly and personable guy, something which was particularly important to us when planning our special day. One word describes Andy Hook… amazing. Holding our wedding in a remote villa in Thailand we wanted to make sure the memories of our special day were captured perfectly. We are so delighted with the images from our wedding. The perfect mementoes from our perfect snowy day. Being generally very uncomfortable in front of a camera we were keen to find a photographer who would capture the atmosphere and emotion of the day without us having to spend hours posing rather than mingling with our guests, and that is exactly what we got.
